Wow, life sure has flown by

I thought I'd look this up before a trip, and I was shocked to learn that outside of my Olympics trip in 2012 I've been gone from blogger for nearly 3 years. Boy has life changed!  

I met someone, got engaged, got married, was diagnosed with cancer and frantically hustling through life to get all I want/need to get done.

If you are interested my early wedding info is at chnabluwedding.blogger but I failed at keeping that updated too. So it's only the beginning of the story.

Travis and I are happily living in Wichita and life seems like it will never slow down. This year we've been on some amazing trips and have another amazing one coming up in a week.  We finished our basement and are enjoying the new area we have downstairs. We added a master bed and bath and a family room. Still organizing it, but enjoying living down there.

Hopefully I can write a little more in the future and not be so distant.

Mothers are Wonderful

My mom has been quilting holiday banners for the much of the past year.  She sends me them in the mail much of the time and I cannot wait to get them inside and see what they are like.  This is the Christmas one I got today.  I LOVE it!!!! I got the banner stand right out and put the quilt on it.  Isn't it it gorgeous! Thank you Mom!
