Chinese, Friends, Boys and Shoes

This past weekend was exciting. Friday night Emily and I went to the mall to have some dinner and shop a little. We went to White House Black Market, one of my favorite stores, eventhough I've never bought anything before Friday night. It's just such a nice store, a bit expensive, but has beautiful clothes. Once I become the new me, I will buy a dress for my cruise! It's my dream and it will come true! Emily was looking for something for the wedding we are going to at the end of the month. We tried some stuff on for 10 min before they closed, then went back for probably an hour on Saturday. I ended up buying some beautiful new shoes though, I just love the shoes, and didn't love any of the tops I tried on. However, I did get to play dress up with my real life sized barbie, Emily, and she bought a beautiful new black and white dress, and a skirt. Did I say I LOVED the shoes!!!!
Friday night Emily and I went to PF Chang's. I love that restaurant! We had a good time, some lucky cat and Riesling with some orange peel and honey chicken and fried noodles!! I always have a good time when I go to PF Chang's. My favorite Chinese restaurant, but that doesn't mean much, I haven't been to many.
Saturday Emily went and got her Bridesmaid dress for Jessie and Chad's wedding. I got a talking to though about how good eharmony was and that I should sign up, which I don't agree with. I'm not against meeting someone now in my life, I'd welcome it, but I'm not going to go look for it online right now, because the last thing I want at this moment in my life is to meet someone that will not move away from the area. My job pretty much dictates the fact that I won't be living here much longer and the fact that I want to get closer to home also predisposes me to want to find someone that would like to live closer to home. I also need to meet someone that will travel with me as it's a must in my life! So I'm not against eharmony and am so glad that people have used it, but the whole concept just isn't for me right now. However, I'm sure I do need to find me a man...:-D
With this I end my talk of Chinese, friends, boys and shoes! I am leaving in the morning on a trip gallivanting through Virginia! It should be fun and I will let you know what I do, as I don't know what we'll end up doing just yet. Enjoy the week.

Love
